'Moving Structures' - Part II is the second work of a video series in which improvised and choreographed interactions with distinctive artworks and buildings are documented on film. The second interaction takes place on the rooftop of the Bundeskunsthalle Museum in Bonn. Movement is used to animate the artworks and buildings through which a direct juxtaposition of visual and performing arts is created. 

 

By 'inserting' a black woman into the natural and built environment, the legitimacy of Black people in Germany is vindicated, their presence is made visible and the perception of Black people as 'foreign bodies' in German society is explored and challenged.
