Based on rhythm and beat, BeatBeethoven by Rafaele Giovanola (COCOON DANCE COMPANY) explores the impact of Beethoven's music by performing it in public urban space in conjunction with contemporary music and dance. It is about exchange, encounter and understanding - between dance and music, between the pulse of the city and lingering, between performers and the people who live in the city - in parks and squares, urban deserts and green islands, the small stages of Bonn. Every station is its own cosmos, creating a complementary parkour that constitutes a whole.
