Due to the size of the dance studio, the number of visitors is limited. We therefore ask you to register with the KHARABA team at the following e-mail address: kharaba.team@gmail.com or via Whatsapp at the following telephone number: 0151 677 482 31. KHARABA is spelled K-H-A-R-A-B-A. When registering, please also let us know whether you would like to use the pick-up service from and to Cologne main station or Düsseldorf main station. The distance between the S-Bahn station Düsseldorf-Bilk and the Balletthaus is approx. 950 meters or 10 - 15 minutes on foot. Alternatively, you can take the 835 bus in the direction of Düsseldorf-Holthausen and get off at the Düsseldorf-Merowingerstraße stop. From the Merowingerstraße stop it is a 50 meter or 1 minute walk to the Balletthaus.

The dance studio is open for warming up 30 minutes before the start of the workshop, i.e. from 13:00. We ask you to arrive on time so that we can start the workshop punctually at 13:30. You should bring comfortable clothes that are easy to move in and water. We recommend arriving in training clothes. You can dance barefoot or in socks. Changing rooms are available.

The following is information on accessibility and barrier-free access to the Balletthaus:

The entrance to the Balletthaus as well as the entrances to all ballet halls and other rooms in the building are accessible for wheelchair users. The Ballet House has an elevator. A wheelchair accessible toilet is located to the left of the entrance in the Balletthaus foyer.

There is a large parking lot in front of the Balletthaus. Guests of the Balletthaus may use the parking lots on the western and northern sides (left after the entrance) of the square. There is a parking space for people with disabilities in the parking lot in front of the Ballet House. Guests of the Balletthaus are requested NOT to use the parking spaces directly in front of the historic Rheinbahn depot “Am Steinberg”. Cabs can drive right up to the entrance.

Assistance dogs are welcome. Dog care cannot be offered during the workshop. Nevertheless, we would like to encourage you to contact us in this regard so that we can look for possible solutions together if necessary.
